Description Letters mainly from Charles W. Cayzer to his parents, regarding the completion and publication of his two volume anthology of poetry "By the Way of the Gate: Poems and Dramas by Charles Cayzer" (1911). This was the first time that his father had permitted Charles to use his own name rather than a nom de plume. The letters then combine news of further poetic endeavours (including a dramatic life of Boudicca) with general family news, a proposed attempt to buy a new country house in Sussex, and news of Winifred Cayzer's impending presentation at Court on 7th May 1913. The bundle includes letters to her parents-in-law from Minnie Cayzer.
